WaterJet cutting uses a high-pressure stream of water and abrasive to cut material precisely without creating a heat-affected zone.

This makes it particularly useful for materials or components where heat from conventional cutting methods could cause distortion, hardening or other unwanted changes.

WaterJet cutting is ideal for turning digital designs into accurate physical components.

We can work from supplied CAD files and drawings or help develop your component using our Custom Design capability.

The accuracy of WaterJet cutting also reduces the amount of secondary processing required for many applications, helping streamline the pathway from raw material to finished component.

One-off parts and repeat production

Whether you need a single custom plate or a run of repeat components, WaterJet cutting provides a flexible manufacturing option without the need for specialised tooling.

For larger projects, cut components can move directly into our Fitting & Machining or Custom Fabrication processes for machining, welding, assembly and finishing.

For ongoing production requirements, our Contract Manufacturing service can incorporate WaterJet cutting into a complete manufacturing and assembly process.
